Our technical staff was trained by both the US NAVY and NASA and are FCC certified. Propulsion Refit Solutions:
For operational or budgetary reasons it’s often necessary to refit existing craft. Our propulsion refit kits contain all components necessary including motors, pumps, hardware and rigging to perform the refit. We design and fabricate the transoms, tunnel assemblies, mufflers to fit the craft and provide all rigging components. The Safari and SJX team have developed propulsion refit solutions to convert compatible outboard powered aluminum craft to inboard Mercury SportJet Propulsion. If your facility does not have the tools, the Safari SJX team can provide the tools required and consulting services or you may arrange to have your craft modified at our facility. Safari recently provided fifteen propulsion refit kits to convert the South American made Piranha riverine boats used to fight the war on drugs from outboard power to inboard jet propulsion.
